Linear ball bearing and guideway assembl

LINEAR BALL BEARINGS AND GUIDEWAY ASSEMBLIES

Linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies represent the most extensive and complex group within the range of monorail guidance systems. They are used where linear guidance systems with high load-carrying capacity and rigidity must move heavy loads with high running and positional accuracy as well as low friction. The guidance systems are preloaded and are suitable for long, unlimited stroke lengths.

Depending on the operating conditions, acceleration values up to 150 m/s   and speeds up to 360 m/minute are possible. A guidance system comprises at least one carriage with rolling elements, a guideway and one or two-piece plastic or brass closing plugs.

VARIANTS:

  • Four-row linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies

  • Six-row linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies

Linear recirculating ball bearing units

LINEAR RECIRCULATING BALL BEARING UNITS

Linear guidance systems with linear recirculating ball bearing units comprise the linear ball bearings, carriages and guideways. They facilitate large distances between support points, can be adjusted for clearance and have standard quality class G3.

The full-complement shoes travel on one or both sides of the guideways and have a high load capacity despite their small dimensions. When the shoes are bolted to carriages, they form four-row linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies together with the guideways. The scrapers on the facing and longitudinal sides that form a gap seal in conjunction with the guideway seal the shoes on all sides. Linear recirculating ball bearing units can be re-lubricated.

Carriages comprise an anodized aluminum base and two linear recirculating ball bearing units. For attachment on the adjacent construction, the carriages have T-slots. Clearance can be adjusted via three screws on the side of the carriage; the screws press against the back of the shoe.

Guideways are available with raceways on one or both sides of the guideway. They are made from hardened steel and ground on all sides.

Linear recirculating roller bearing and

LINEAR RECIRCULATING ROLLER BEARINGS AND GUIDEWAY ASSEMBLIES

RUE linear recirculating roller bearing and guideway assemblies are, due to the cylindrical rollers, the INA monorail guidance systems with the highest load-carrying capacity and rigidity. They comprise at least one carriage with a full complement roller system, a guideway, integral elastic wipers on the end faces of the carriage, sealing strips on the upper side and underside of the carriage and closing plugs to close off the fixing holes in the guideway.

The carriage and guideway of a linear recirculating roller bearing and guideway assembly are matched to each other due to their closely toleranced preload. It may be possible, after consultation, to use carriages and guideways in different combinations.

Linear recirculating roller bearing and guideway assemblies are suitable for acceleration values up to 100 m/s2, speeds up to 180 m/min. and operating temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +100 °C. They are used in applications involving long, unlimited stroke lengths, high to very high loads and high to very high rigidity.

The units are also available in a variant with optimized noise characteristics and in X-life quality.

Miniature linear ball bearing and guidew

MINIATURE LINEAR BALL BEARING AND GUIDEWAY ASSEMBLIES

Double-row and four-row miniature linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies are full-complement, preloaded linear locating bearings for unlimited stroke lengths. A unit comprises at least one carriage with a locating face and a guideway.

The units can support forces from all directions apart from the direction of motion and moments about all axes. The double-row units have two rows of rolling elements in four-point contact with the raceways. KUME..-C has four rows of rolling elements in two-point contact with the raceways that transmit forces at a contact angle of 45°.

The linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies are corrosion-resistant due to the steels used in the manufacture of the saddle plates and guideways.
